Khatau Apartments, a 45-year-old residential building, underwent a structural restoration to strengthen its aging infrastructure. The project involved complete external plastering, extensive structural repairs through column and beam strengthening using microconcrete and polymer mortar, recasting of all chajjas, brickwork repairs and guniting. In order to reduce structural load and enhance visual appeal, the old RCC fins were replaced with lightweight, modern UPVC fins. This was complemented by texture coating and external painting, giving the façade a fresh, contemporary appearance.
